I dropped in to share my latest beauty haul, and I thought I’d show you how I do it on a limited budget. These are things I’ve gotten over the last couple months. I’m still a beauty on a budget, but I got a few early Mother’s Day gifts, and I kept to sales and lower-priced spots. If there’s anything you’d like to see in action or more details about, please hit me up!
Coloured Raine matte liquid lipsticks in Mocha, Truffle Raine, and Whatever
I wanted more brown lippies (I’m determined to find some nude shades that suit me!), and took advantage of Coloured Raine’s Mother’s Day sale. The entire site is currently marked down 20%, and your favorite affiliate code applies on top of that! I’ve got three other shades, and am a fan of the formula. These lippies have a soft matte finish, in that they look like hard mattes, but wear more like satins. They’re not drying, but do transfer a bit.
Tony Moly sheet mask assortment
I love my sheet masks! I used a coupon code and got a starter kit, which includes 2 masks each from the Master Lab, I’m Real, and Pureness 100 lines. What’s cool about it is that you can customize it and pick the masks that best suit your needs. I also got each of the three I’m Real 5-pack combo sets. I wanted a variety, to see which I liked best for my various skin issues. If you’re interested, you can save $10 off your first order of $40 or more by purchasing through my link.
Pigments. My addiction is real. I ended up with 10 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, a tube of Pixie Epoxy, and a lippie (Wizardry II). I went to the site for the epoxy. Sigh. As you can see, when available, I always purchase minis. First of all, the lower prices of minis equal more pretties for me to try. Secondly, I’d probably never finish full-sized jars anyway.
Bentley MUA Cosmetics Galore 4/20 Highlighter
This is a beautiful golden green highlighter with a stoner reference. I purchased the bundle, which includes a bottle of Glowing Primer Oil in the shade Born Star. I like the oil very much, and it makes my skin feel incredible. It contains gold shimmer that’s very subtle and imparts a slight glow to the skin under your foundation. I love the color of the highlighter, but am not satisfied with the packaging. It’s loose powder that comes in a compact, but I feel it should be in a jar. The compact is hard to open, and though I try to be gentle, I’ve lose quite a bit of product when it pops open. I’ll be transferring it to a jar, for sure. The intense glow, though, is a yaaassss.
W1sh Beauty sheet masks
Yes, more masks! I got a couple of these masks in my January ipsy glam bag, and I liked them, particularly the aloe. W1sh Beauty has a 10 for $10 deal on them, so I grabbed some more. They carry several brands, so I decided to pick up a few others, when I noticed that ipsy had a coupon offer for the Manefit brand. I ended up with an even better deal when I realized that by signing up for emails, I got a coupon good for anything on the site. I’m set for spring and summer on the masks, and in case you think I overdid it, I have a 15-year-old who also puts them to good use. She happily relieved me of about a dozen the moment she noticed my stash. 🙂
Queens Lyfe cream highlighter in 10K, Pink Lemonade, and Dragon Blood
Oh. Em. Gee. That glow, though! I caught these during Queens Lyfe’s pre-launch sale for a third of the retail price. These highlighters are creamy and intense…a little goes a long way. I like the pumps on these bottles, in theory. In reality, I have an easier time using these highlighters by pumping it out on my hand or palette and dabbing it from there. It makes it easier to control the amount I use. I really like it, though, and I wish I’d gotten them all.
So, that’s haul, folks! 🙂 While I did go a little overboard, it actually wasn’t too bad. The highest priced hauls were right around the $40 mark, so I didn’t o overboard. I may or may not also have a Notoriously Morbid haul on the way, from a recent sale. Have you tried any of these products? Were there any you’d buy again? Any that you wouldn’t?
