Notoriously Morbid #FOTD

Hi, all!

I thought I’d share my face of the day from earlier this week, featuring Notoriously Morbid Cosmetics. Over in NM’s Customer Crypt, we’re having some fun with the Sin in Your Eyes challenge, in which the seven deadly sins are depicted in different eyeshadow colors. While most folks have started off with Lust, I realized (with horror) that I don’t own a single NM red. I should be ashamed. I have several on my wishlist, but I always lose my mind a little when I see all the pretties and forget to check the list.

So, feeling blue about my collection being lacking, I opted to do Sloth. Which makes perfect sense, because it was a lazy Sunday afternoon and I didn’t do anything that required street clothes or shoes. Here’s the look I came up with!

Sometimes Dead is Better – base
Silent Samurai – lid
Breaking Porcelain – liner, lower lash line, inner lid
Misery Loves Company mixed with SS and BP – liner
I Burn, I Pine, I Perish – inner corner

Tempestuous – blush
I Burn, I Pine, I Perish – highlighter

Nocturnal Mistress, topped with Breaking Porcelain

I got this pretty blue Heart of The Sea Necklace from Vesfashion to review, and I thought it went well with this look. The blue heart-shaped stone is a beaut, and I thought it added just the right amount of drama. It’s very pretty, and I’ve already gotten compliments on it. You can find it here.

I’m excited about participating in my first makeup challenge, even though I can’t do all the looks. I’ve been wanting to attempt some, just for the sake of practicing and learning. If you know of any fun challenges that are beginner-friendly, I’d love to know about them. If you’d care to check out Notoriously Morbid’s Customer Crypt for helpful tips, voting on new products, spoilers, and some straight-up amazing looks, you can join us here.

What’s your favorite color eyeshadow? Do you ever participate in challenges?

Thanks for reading!
