I’m back with the May Vanishing Cabinet! In case you’re not familiar, Notoriously Morbid Cosmetics curates the Vanishing Cabinet, a monthly beauty box with a pop culture theme. It costs $13.25 USD per month shipped within the U.S., and $20.00 USD shipped internationally. The theme of this month’s Vanishing Cabinet is “Good, Bad, I’m the Guy With the Gun”. An Evil Dead theme? Aw, yissss…let’s get into it!
This VC includes four eyeshadows and a Mystic Matte lipstick. All the shadows this month are shimmers!
Evil Ash is a bright yellow-green that’s almost chartreuse, but leans more yellow. This is my favorite, and is a totally unique color in my stash.
Hail to the King, Baby is a black with a blue shift and blue sparks.
Groovy is sort of a grayed-out Prussian blue.
Gimme Some Sugar is white with a blue shift.
This is my Boomstick is an odd and lovely combination of brown, gray and purple that is also totally unique in my collection.
Overall, this VC is one of my favorites so far. The colors all play together really well, and I love that they include not one, but two colors that I don’t have anything similar to. As a bonus, I used Gimme Some Sugar as a highlighter, y’all! You know I love a lazy girl…errr…multipurpose product. The Evil Dead movie franchise is one of my favorites. It’s one that I was too young for, and that I had to sneak and watch, which made it that much more exciting. The colors pay perfect homage, and I like every last one. This month’s Vanishing Cabinet is currently sold out, but you can join the Notoriously Morbid Customer Crypt for details on when overstock will be available in the shop. You can also keep an eye out and find more details about the VC and Mystic Monthly, Notoriously Morbid’s lip product subscription, here.
What did you think of this month’s colors and theme? Are you an Evil Dead fan?
